Dr. Guylaine L. Richard, is a <\/strong>medical graduate from the School of Medicine and Pharmacy in Haiti; a graduate from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Public Health and the John Hopkins University School of Professional Studies in Business and Education. She brings more than 25 years of experience leading successful programs, educating and providing training and technical assistance in the field of public health, administration and education to various national and international agencies serving at-risk populations. Dr. Richard is the founder and chairperson of WISEOP, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to the attainment of self-sufficiency through education and leadership. She is the President of RichardEtc, LLC, a woman, veteran, minority owned and certified small business enterprise providing training and consultation to local, regional, national and international programs in the areas of leadership, organizational development, program quality and staff professional development. <\/strong>Presently Dr. Richard works as the Training and Technical Assistance Development Director of the National Center on Parents, Family and Community Engagement at the Brazelton Touchpoints Center at Children Boston Hospital. She is a life coach and is known for her passion for children, youth, pregnant women and her true commitment to delivery of quality services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. Edmond is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park School of Public Health, Department of Family Science; a graduate of the University of Albany, Rockefeller College School of Public Administration; a Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS); and a Certified Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer.<\/p>

Dr. Edmond has more than 20 years\u2019 experience as\u00a0an administrator,\u00a0trainer, lecturer, author, and researcher in the areas of early childhood education, child abuse and neglect, child and adolescent development, domestic violence prevention, mental health, Haitian culture and traditions, and parenting. She has developed national training for Head Start directors, teachers, and staff members, as well as conducted seminars and workshops in Canada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Haiti, Mexico, and South Africa. She is a founding board member of the Taratibu Youth Association, a young people\u2019s performing arts organization, and a former\u00a0maternal mentor for the Mental Health Association \u2013 Mothers Offering Maternal Support (MOMS) program in Montgomery County, Maryland. Dr. Edmond is committed to ensuring that Wiseop, Inc. uses\u00a0outreach efforts, mental health approaches, and parenting support practices\u00a0that are theoretically,\u00a0culturally,\u00a0and\u00a0biblically based in order to better serve the most vulnerable in poor communities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. Charlot-Swilley was born and reared in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; she also spent some of her early \u00a0formative years in New York City. She was educated as a budding psychologist with an interest in children at University of Miami earning a BS and worked in the field at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami assisting with the early research on attachment. She later earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Howard University, Washington, D.C. She has served as a faculty member at Johns Hopkins University and as adjunct professor at Howard University, George Washington University, and Montgomery College, Takoma Park. She was Assistant Director of private practice in Maryland where she supervised clinical psychology externs. Dr. Charlot-Swilley has over twenty years\u2019 experience working with zero to five population. She has extensive knowledge of the conceptualization, development, evaluation and implementation of programs, including community-based prevention, gender-specific adolescent programs, and early intervention and crisis intervention projects. She has conducted research \u00a0evaluation and assessment for public and private institutions. Dr. Charlot-Swilley currently co-leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of a community-based pediatric primary care program at Children\u2019s National Medical Center-Anacostia and train and supervise staff on the Georgetown Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation model. She is part of the Early Childhood Innovation Network, a local collaborative of health and education providers, community-based organizations, researchers, and advocates in Washington, DC.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

She is experienced in computer software, especially Geographical Information Systems (GIS), map preparation\/interpretation, databases, data collection and analysis, research and evaluation of statistical data related to demographic and educational facilities planning. She has extensive knowledge of community planning.
